Head of Data Platform Foundations

Head of Data Platform Foundations leading the enterprise data platform strategy, architecture, and operations within Group IT. Owns the long-term technology roadmap for the Data Platform, including automation, modernization, and AI enablement; provides architectural leadership and governance across Data Cloud initiatives; oversees design and delivery of core platform components (landing zones, data pipelines, integrations, environments); ensures scalability, resilience, performance, and cost efficiency; drives DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure as Code adoption; enforces security by design (access control, encryption, network isolation, monitoring); ensures stable operations for both batch and real-time pipelines; leads a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and DevOps specialists; interfaces with business stakeholders, enterprise architecture, and delivery teams; manages strategic relationships with cloud providers, vendors, and system integrators; requires 10+ years in data platforms/architecture, 5+ years in senior leadership roles, strong cloud and data ecosystem experience, and solid IaC/CI/CD capabilities. Nice to have multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud exposure and experience in large regulated enterprises.
