Job Summary
Ingest high-volume operational data via event-driven streams, CDC, and batch feeds into a centralized lakehouse using Parquet, Trino, and Flink. Own the physical and analytical modeling of the data platform, manage the serving tier for customer-facing screeners under production SLAs, and govern schema contracts and entitlements across multi-tenant environments. Drive reverse-ETL to push derived data back to operational systems while maintaining strict data classification controls. Partner with Product Engineering to define versioned ingestion paths and collaborate with the Analytics team on semantic layer consumption. This leadership role accelerates 9fin's mission to centralize proprietary credit data for global debt markets, powering analytics for over 300 blue-chip institutions.
Required Qualifications
- Has built and operated a customer-facing data product under an SLA
- Deep experience moving high-volume data in production
- Strong on schema registries and contracts
- Fluent in Parquet, Trino, streaming (Kafka/Flink), and lakehouse platforms
- Product and governance instincts
