Job Summary
Lead the engagement, prioritisation and delivery of the data function, acting as the strategic interface between business stakeholders and data teams to ensure the right work is delivered with clarity, pace and impact. This high-visibility leadership role shapes how data products are defined, prioritised and delivered at scale, with responsibility for overseeing the end-to-end data delivery lifecycle, aligning data initiatives to business strategy, and driving adoption and value across the organisation. You will manage and develop senior teams, collaborate with Engineering, BI, AI, Governance and Digital teams, and communicate risks, trade-offs and business impact to executive stakeholders. Hybrid working is supported with offices in London, Guildford or Bournemouth requiring 50% office attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Degree level education (2:1 or above) or equivalent experience
- Experience leading demand and portfolio management in complex data or technology environments
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively without direct authority
- Deep understanding of agile and lean delivery methodologies across multiple teams
- Experience working within or leading data, analytics or technology functions
- Demonstrated delivery leadership across cross-functional programmes
- Ability to translate complex delivery challenges into clear, business-focused narratives
- Executive presence with confidence engaging at C-suite and senior leadership level
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Experience managing teams and developing high-performing individuals
