Job Summary
Develop and monitor a client-driven franchise growth plan while leading a team of bankers to oversee overall client relationships. Deliver comprehensive treasury and corporate finance solutions, including cash management, trade finance, vendor finance, foreign exchange, credit facilities, lending, and derivative products. Drive client planning, product-agnostic cross-selling, and effective capital allocation within Institutional Client Groups. Translate Citi's strategy into an efficient business plan that balances near-term and long-term priorities while meeting revenue and risk management goals. Partner with Investment Banking and Global Capital Markets to execute episodic transactions and allocate capital prudently. Ensure all solutions meet stringent risk, return, and ethical standards by driving compliance with applicable laws and escalating control issues with transparency.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in people leadership
- Demonstrated ability to balance between internal management and external client time
- Demonstrated understanding of compliance issues and regulatory requirements (global and local)
- Proven leadership skills and intellectual capability to create momentum and a collective agenda across multiple products with a diverse population and competing priorities
- Demonstrated intellectual grasp of the industry and ability to anticipate and lead the organizational response to future changes and translate ideas into executable plans
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with pragmatic approach to ensure limited resources are directed appropriately
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications
- Senior Credit Officer preferred
- Master's/MBA degree preferred from a top economics, business, or financial engineering program
