Job Summary
Lead and deliver a programme of audit and compliance projects to improve efficiency while ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance. Develop a coherent multi-year strategy for compliance transformation aimed at increased systemisation, automation, centralisation, and overall efficiency. Design and execute an auditable, prioritised programme with defined scope, outcomes, timelines and stakeholders; partner with senior leaders and central functions to embed compliance into business planning and operations. Build a data-led audit strategy that supports legislative, contractual and client compliance and enables sustainable growth. Oversee end-to-end compliance and audit activities, review processes, controls and behaviours; use data and systems to identify risks and inform decisions. Lead, coach and develop a team of auditors and ensure resources are flexibly allocated across projects. Manage external audits (ISO, FWA, NHS Frameworks, HMRC) and maintain up-to-date compliance requirements across UK and international operations. Build strong relationships with Managing Directors, HR and Group Risk to drive change; deliver projects on time with impact.
