Job Summary
Manage the day-to-day operations of the compliance department, overseeing AML, safer gambling, and GDPR regulations across UK, Malta, Irish, and Curacao jurisdictions. Lead the team in Israel and overseas while conducting ongoing risk assessments of company processes against legal, operational, and technical requirements. Implement policies and procedures to ensure business conformity with applicable laws, challenge existing practices, and draft responses to regulatory queries and investigations. Liaise with external legal advisors, government authorities, and service providers to monitor industry developments and identify market opportunities. Proactively raise awareness of compliance risks throughout the business in partnership with key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Managing the day to day of the compliance Department
- Responsible for all regulations, AML, Safer Gambling and GDPR aspects of the company
- Manage the team both in Israel and overseas
- Monitoring industry developments, understanding competitive landscape and regulatory environment and identifying market opportunities
- Conducting ongoing risk assessments of the Company processes and procedures in light of various legal regulatory, operational and technical requirements
- Implementing various policies and procedures, to ensure that business activities are conducted in conformity with all applicable laws and regulations
- Challenging existing practices and procedures, and making recommendations in accordance with industry best practice
- Liaising with other companies, service providers, test laboratories, external legal advisors, local government, regulatory authorities (local and foreign) and relevant service providers in various jurisdictions, as and when required
- Preparing regular and ad hoc reports with respect to regulatory requirements and developments
- Drafting responses to queries and investigations conducted by various bodies
- Proactively raising awareness of compliance risks throughout the business
- Working in partnership with other key stakeholders in the business, to ensure full adherence with the Company's policies and procedures
- He/she will be a motivated self-starter, with the ability to prioritize and work according to strict deadlines in an international environment
- Experience in writing business, legal and regulation documentation
- An individual who has experience in dealing with compliance matters within a regulated environment
- The candidate should possess solid oral, written, presentation, interpersonal communication skills
- Fluency in English is a must
