Job Summary
Act as the primary brand custodian for Covestro in Japan, managing corporate identity across all touchpoints and approving branding assets for Business Entities. Independently develop and execute corporate communications strategies that adapt global messaging to local needs while planning PR campaigns to position the company as an industry leader. Lead employee and change communication initiatives for transformation programs, designing newsletters, intranet content, and town halls to strengthen engagement. Strengthen visibility through media relations, developing storylines for press releases, articles, and executive speeches to amplify leadership thought leadership. Manage crisis communication preparedness and support CSR initiatives aligned with the company's purpose. Requires 5–7 years in corporate communications within multinational companies, with bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese. Full-time role with competitive compensation and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in corporate communications within multinational companies
- Experience in the chemical, materials, or industrial sector
- Familiarity with corporate writing styles
- Experience in cross-regional collaboration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese
- Professional experience in speechwriting and storytelling
