Job Summary
Head of Commercial, US based in New York leads PureGym US commercial strategy and pricing, owning end-to-end pricing roadmap, revenue management, and performance discipline to drive revenue and EBITDA growth. Responsible for localisation of the group commercial model to the US market, integrating pricing for base memberships, joining and promotional fees, and new product architecture; partners with finance, technology, and configuration to deliver pricing changes and platform capability; leads weekly/monthly trading reviews, competitor intelligence, and refurbishment-related pricing initiatives; collaborates with marketing, operations, and insights to optimize promotions and lifecycle pricing; role requires office presence in NYC ~3-4 days/week and regular travel to US gyms, with targeted focus on NY/NJ and fast-paced, data-driven decision making.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in pricing, revenue management or commercial strategy
- Experience in consumer-facing operational businesses - multi-site and/or subscription a plus
- Strong analytical and financial acumen
- Data-driven approach to diagnosing performance issues and identifying opportunities
- Strong written and verbal communication to translate analysis into recommendations
- Ability to balance short-term revenue delivery with long-term value creation
- Collaborative across departments including marketing, technology, finance, insights & analytics
- Able to lead with pace, ownership, and high-performance culture in US leadership team
