Job Summary
Strategic, senior-leader role coordinating Citi's Cloud and AI initiatives across technology and business units; drive Hybrid Cloud Integration (OpenShift, AWS, Google Cloud), accelerate Application Modernization via a Containerization Factory, empower developers with self-service IaC and automated deployment, and establish FinOps governance while managing senior stakeholder relationships and vendor partnerships. Responsibilities span coordinating across CTS, LoB CIOs, and BELs; implementing data strategy and governance; ensuring compliance with ARB/SAC frameworks; and delivering measurable business value through modernization and cost optimization. Requires deep cloud, containerization, IaC, DevOps/SRE, and enterprise-program experience, plus strong leadership and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years of demonstrated experience leading successful, large-scale IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, and application modernization programs
- Proven track record of executing major enterprise programs, specifically in Cloud or AI initiatives
- Expert-level knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Deep expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, MS Azure) and private cloud technologies (OpenShift)
- Proven experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices
- Strong understanding of FinOps principles with experience implementing cost optimization and governance frameworks in a hybrid cloud environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Master’s degree is preferred
