Job Summary
Own Seccl Ireland's client asset framework to safeguard client money and assets, ensuring compliance with the Central Bank of Ireland's Client Asset Requirements. Maintain and evolve the Client Asset Management Plan, policies, and controls while building first-line monitoring and assurance processes. Provide clear reporting on compliance, risks, and controls to senior leaders and the Ireland Board, leading regulatory reporting and annual examinations. Review breaches and near misses to embed root cause improvements, working closely with operations, product, engineering, and auditors to integrate client asset considerations into business decisions.
Required Qualifications
- significant experience working with client asset regulation and oversight in a regulated financial services business
- experience, judgement and track record to take on PCF-45 responsibilities
- understanding of the Central Bank of Ireland's Client Asset Requirements and how to translate regulation into practical controls, policies and processes
- experience building or maintaining client asset governance, monitoring, assurance and regulatory reporting frameworks
- comfortable providing constructive challenge, escalating material concerns and making clear decisions where client assets are at risk
- ability to build trusted relationships with regulators, auditors, senior leaders and colleagues across technical and operational teams
