Head of CBE Switzerland & Austria (f/m/x)

Job Summary
Develop strategies to stabilize the existing portfolio and deepen market position across Switzerland and Austria while acquiring new clients to meet allocated targets. Manage large corporate clients and in-house brokers at executive and C-level, coordinating all relevant sales activities and representing the organization at national and international industry events. Lead a virtual, international account team including Underwriting, Claims, Operations, and Legal functions, orchestrating executive meetings, annual reviews, and exclusive client events. Monitor KPIs, manage portfolio growth and client satisfaction using CRM systems, and report directly to the Head of Client & Broker Engagement DACH. Requires fluency in German and English, extensive experience in the insurance industry, and strong leadership skills to influence without formal authority.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Law, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline
- Extensive, relevant professional experience in a comparable strategic sales, key account, or broker management role
- Proven excellent network with large corporate clients and in-house brokers across the ACH region
- Strong ACH industry experience
- Long-standing experience working with boards, executive management, and C-level stakeholders
- Demonstrated and sustainable success in strategic broker and key account management
- Strong intercultural competence
- Experience working with international, multidisciplinary teams
- Strong leadership personality with a high level of influence and assertiveness
- In-depth, cross-line-of-business expertise with at least one clear core specialization
- Excellent strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset, confidence, and personal maturity
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
- Very good IT skills (Office 365, Salesforce)
- Leadership skills
- Good market network
- Experience in a comparable role within an internationally oriented insurance organization
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or MBA
- Experience as a senior underwriter in one of the core lines
- Additional languages
- Experience in the international large corporate segment of the insurance industry
