Job Summary
Head of Care at West Heath House in Birmingham leading nursing and Rehabilitation Support teams to deliver high-quality neurorehabilitation care for people with brain injuries. Responsibilities include overseeing clinical care delivery, governance and audits, coordinating referrals and admissions, training and supervising staff, coordinating with carers, families and external agencies, and promoting health and personal outcomes for service users.
Required Qualifications
- A valid RGN nursing qualification
- Experience of managing a ward(s) or large nursing team effectively
- The experience and ability to lead, manage and inspire a team.
- Proven experience of managing complex and diverse care/rehabilitation services
- Demonstrate relevant understanding of the challenges associated with working with people with an acquired brain injury and other long term neurological degenerative conditions
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Mentorship in Practice (MIP) qualification or a willingness to undertake. Or extensive experience
