Job Summary
Head of Business Development at Endurance responsible for owning commercial strategy and deal execution across the Pacific, building and leading a world-class commercial organization (power sales, offtake, partnerships, BD operations), driving customer development with utilities, hyperscalers, sovereign authorities, and defense program offices, structuring offtake and partnership terms for first commercial projects, leading federal lease and Program of Record pursuits, and developing the bankability framework and commercial operating system for a gigawatt-scale energy company; collaborates with Policy and External Affairs and reports to/works with CEO/COO to advance multi-gigawatt pipeline and long-term commercial trajectory.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or complex enterprise and government sales involving large scale infrastructure, energy, defense, or deep-tech systems
- Demonstrated track record closing multi-million-dollar deals
- Experience structuring complex commercial agreements
- Strong technical fluency with the ability to hold credibility in rooms with engineers and scientists
- Track record of building and leading exceptional commercial teams
- Experience navigating long sales cycles with executive stakeholders
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, energy, or defense procurement cycles and capital flows
- Willingness to travel internationally across the Pacific region when commercial relationships require it
