Job Summary
Senior leader responsible for shaping and funding defense programs before they exist, engaging senior DoD decision-makers across OSD, Secretariats, PEOs, and PAEs; architecting new programs from concept to funded efforts; selling a manufacturing advantage through strategic insight and alignment of requirements with PPBE cycles to enable $10M–$100M+ program scale; requires 15+ years in defense BD or related leadership, deep DoD relationships, and active clearance; travel ~25–50%.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years in defense BD, strategy, or program leadership
- Proven track record of shaping and securing large-scale DoD programs ($50M+)
- Deep relationships across DoD decision-makers (OSD, Service Secretariats, PEOs, PAEs)
- Experience influencing requirements and funding before formal acquisition
- Background in missiles, hypersonics, strike systems, UAS, or similar
- Active Secret Clearance (TS preferred or eligible)
