Job Summary
Lead Pigment's brand strategy and evolution in collaboration with the CMO and senior leadership. Own the brand’s visual and creative identity, including governance of naming and nomenclature across products and experiences. Drive the development of compelling brand stories, campaigns, and narratives that emotionally connect users with Pigment’s purpose. Lead the in-house creative team, set quality standards, and manage agency and freelance relationships at strategy and execution levels. Own the operating model for creative review and approval, while leveraging AI to drive efficiencies without compromising output quality. Depending on the week, contribute hands-on by designing a campaign asset, writing a brand narrative section, or art-directing a shoot. Use AI as an operating principle to scale brand outputs and ensure consistency across customer touchpoints.
Required Qualifications
- Ten years of brand strategy experience in-house or at an agency
- At least 3 years owning brand direction at a company with a defined visual identity
- Experience in high-growth B2B or SaaS environments with enterprise-brand work
- Hands-on AI fluency in a creative workflow
- Direct experience leading and developing in-house designers and managing creative agency relationships
- Proven ability to distill complex products into clear narratives and to influence executives
- Portfolio including personally created work, not solely directed work
- Experience building or overhauling creative review and approval processes
- Ability to present brand rationale to senior leadership and potentially at board level
