Job Summary
Lead and manage the boarding provision at Wellington College International Lagos, overseeing boarding house operations, welfare and pastoral care, staffing, development of boarding, and engagement with parents; responsible for safeguarding, budgeting, scheduling, and marketing the boarding program, with a focus on high academic and pastoral outcomes.
Required Qualifications

- Cross-cultural working experience is a significant advantage
- Be able to assess pupils’ interests, needs and developments
- Pro-active, self-sufficient and pragmatic

Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Education or related field
- Experience leading boarding in an international/school environment
- Strong safeguarding and child protection understanding
- Proven budget management and staffing oversight
- Strategic development and marketing experience for boarding programs
- Excellent communication with parents/guardians and staff
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Cross-cultural sensitivity and adaptability
- Leadership experience with a managerial/department head role
- Commitment to high standards of pastoral care and academics
- Induction and professional development for boarding staff
- Experience coordinating health, safety, and welfare policies in boarding environments
- Ability to work collaboratively with Master, Bursar, Admissions and Marketing teams
- Willingness to reside in school accommodation during term time
