Job Summary
Lead NORY's San Francisco Bay Area expansion as Regional Director, launching and scaling the 2026/2027 summer camps and subsequent programs; develop and maintain high-value partnerships with schools and community stakeholders; recruit and oversee a local team of educators and site leaders; manage regional operations, budget, and regulatory compliance (local childcare permits, licensing, safety codes); collaborate closely with NYC headquarters to ensure brand alignment and operational best practices; conduct extensive local travel within the Bay Area to establish camps and partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in educational program management or camp operations
- expansion track record in education or real estate procurement for programs
- leadership experience recruiting and managing remote or multi-site teams
- deep familiarity with the SF Bay Area educational landscape and local family demographics
- entrepreneurial mindset and ability to build scalable systems in a changing market
