Head of Arranging - Investment Management | Saudi Arabia

Job Summary

Lead the origination and qualification of Islamic capital market transactions, including Sukuk, RECCs, and other structured financing solutions across targeted sectors. Drive end-to-end transaction structuring, including financial modeling, cash flow analysis, credit assessment, Shariah review, and commercial negotiations. Coordinate with external legal advisors, Shariah scholars, and other professional advisors throughout the documentation and transaction closing process. Lead investor syndication activities, prepare investment opportunities, and participate in roadshows and institutional investor presentations. Conduct comprehensive credit analysis, financial due diligence, sponsor assessments, and risk evaluations for prospective transactions. Prepare and present investment recommendations, credit memoranda, and transaction proposals to senior management and investment committees. Monitor post-closing transaction performance, covenant compliance, and emerging credit risks while recommending appropriate mitigation strategies. Build, mentor, and develop the arranging team, ensuring effective workload distribution and continuous capability development. Develop standardized transaction processes, documentation standards, financial models, and internal risk frameworks to improve operational efficiency. Maintain strong relationships with sponsors, investors, financial institutions, legal advisors, and other key stakeholders within the capital markets ecosystem.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of experience within investment banking, capital markets, structured finance, Sukuk, Islamic finance, or real estate finance
  • Demonstrated experience originating, structuring, and successfully closing financing transactions
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, cash flow analysis, credit assessment, and transaction structuring
  • Solid understanding of Shariah-compliant financing structures and AAOIFI standards
  • Experience managing institutional investors, syndication activities, and transaction negotiations
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English

Desired Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as CFA, ACCA, or equivalent
  • CME-1 and CME-5 certifications
