Head of ALS

Lead the ALS team to design and implement a support model ensuring all learners requiring SEND access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. Coordinate with external agencies and oversee individual support plans, including EHCPs, while maintaining compliance with funding, inspection, and legislation. Manage Exam Access Arrangements to guarantee equitable support for eligible learners during assessments under JCQ regulations. Collaborate with curriculum and support services teams to maximize student retention, achievement, and progression. Serve as the key point of contact for students, parents, and staff to champion a college-wide culture of inclusivity and accessibility.
