Job Summary
Establish and oversee the new AIT facility in Los Angeles, including clean room setup, equipment procurement, and process definition. Build partnerships with key third-party suppliers for clean room equipment and services. Develop and implement AIT strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient operations in alignment with HQ standards. Hire, train, and manage the AIT team while fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement. Manage day-to-day operations to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to plan and execute AIT projects from initial design to final delivery. Establish rigorous quality control and safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards. Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve quality. Provide regular reports on AIT operations, projects, and performance to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in spacecraft AIT
- at least 4 years in a leadership role
- Deep knowledge of clean room operations, equipment, and best practices
- Proven track record of setting up and managing successful AIT facilities
- Strong project management skills

- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or related field
