Job Summary
Drive departmental capacity growth by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks within CAMO and fleet management teams to support scaling corporate ambitions. Architect the strategic roadmap for expanding Part 21 Extended Workbench systems toward standalone Part 21J approvals while collaborating with the Head of Capability Delivery to deconflict complex modifications from BAU baselines. Lead the CAM and Fleet Managers, ensuring flawless day-to-day airworthiness delivery and absolute compliance with UKCAA, EASA, and 2-Reg frameworks. Embed safety risk management as the primary senior escalation point for complex technical issues. Utilize advanced reliability tools like Veryon Tracking+ and Centrik to conduct fleet-wide data analysis, optimize the Aircraft and Mission System Maintenance Programme, and reduce operational downtime through predictive maintenance scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience at a senior head-of-department level within an aviation engineering or complex airworthiness environment
- Comprehensive command of airworthiness regulations
- Specific experience growing, building, or managing Part 21J (or equivalent) frameworks alongside Part-CAMO (or equivalent) workflows
- Demonstrated track record of scaling organisational capabilities
- Demonstrated track record of eliminating resource constraints
- Demonstrated track record of driving cross-functional project success

- Experience of delivering in a high-tempo operational environment supporting ISR or similar operations
