Job Summary
Lead and develop the Agronomy, Agritech, Pruning, and Field Audit teams to drive plantation productivity, crop quality, and operational performance. Analyze plantation data based on field observations to recommend practical improvements and champion agritech innovation and sustainability initiatives. Manage production forecasting, harvest planning, and departmental budgets while ensuring compliance with industry agricultural standards. Prepare management reports and strategic recommendations to align technical standards with business objectives across large-scale plantation operations. This role requires a Bachelor's in Agronomy or related fields, minimum five years of experience including leadership, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Crop Science, Agricultural Technology or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience in agronomy, plantation management or agricultural operations, including leadership experience
- Proven experience managing large-scale plantation operations (500+ acres preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to convert technical data into actionable recommendations
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills
- Able to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams
- Comfortable working and residing in a remote plantation environment
