Job Summary
Establish the new agri-finance business unit by defining credit approaches, designing scoring frameworks, and structuring innovative financing solutions to bridge working-capital gaps for producers. Evaluate proposals, prepare credit memos, and manage portfolio risk through data-driven dashboards and early-warning systems. Originate relationships with cooperatives and suppliers while coordinating internally with commercial and risk teams and externally with funders and legal advisors. Apply data-first underwriting, leveraging automation and AI to sharpen credit processes.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Agricultural Economics, or a related field
- demonstrable exposure to credit analysis, structured finance, or agri-finance
- drive to build a business unit from the ground up
- Proven ability to build and interpret credit models
- Proven ability to read financial statements
- Proven ability to translate analysis into a clear, defensible lending decision
- A genuine interest in (and ideally direct exposure to) how producers manage cash flow, seasonality and input costs

- Experience with production credit, trade finance, or input financing within agriculture
