Job Summary
Assist the Principal in developing and implementing school policies, procedures, and strategic plans while overseeing administrative staff to ensure efficient operations across all departments. Coordinate student disciplinary procedures and attendance management, manage school budgets and financial planning, and collaborate with department heads to enhance curriculum development. Facilitate professional development programs, ensure compliance with local regulations, and assist in recruitment and staff evaluation. Implement safety procedures and drive innovation in educational landscapes. Must reside in Benin City with a Master's degree in Education Administration and 3-5 years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Education Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in educational administration
- Prior experience as a teacher or in a similar leadership role
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in educational administration software and technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, and staff
- Expertise in budget management qnd financial planning
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of educational policies and regulations in Nigeria
- Understanding of curriculum development and implementation strategies
- Familiarity with student assessment and performance evaluation methods
- Ability to adapt to changing educational landscapes and implement innovative practices
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture
- Must reside in Benin City
