Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate the delivery of safe, effective, patient-centred nursing care across all clinical units while ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and best practices. Provide direct supervision of nursing staff, manage duty rosters and shift schedules, and monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and supporting quality improvement initiatives. Act as a key liaison between the nursing team and hospital management, collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient care delivery and supporting hospital-wide audits and accreditation processes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 Years (with supervisory experience)
- Valid RN/RM License (Current and in Good Standing)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing)
- Minimum of 15 years post-qualification nursing experience
- At least 7–10 years in a supervisory or leadership role within a hospital setting
- Experience in managing nursing teams and coordinating clinical operations
- Clinical expertise and patient care excellence
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Organisational and operational coordination skills
- Attention to detail and compliance orientation
- Problem-solving and decision-making capability
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant certifications in nursing leadership or healthcare management (added advantage)
- Exposure to structured healthcare environments is highly desirable
