Head Nurse

Conduct daily clinical duties and oversee a dedicated team of Registered Veterinary Nurses at a busy, first-opinion GP surgery. Provide clinical coaching to staff and support student nurses while ensuring the highest standards of care for patients across consultation rooms, the theatre, and recovery areas. Manage in-house lab results and utilize advanced equipment including ultrasound and digital x-ray, with no out-of-hours duties. Work full-time, 40 hours per week over four days, including a share of weekend shifts on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.
