Coordinate daily stocking, merchandising, and inventory activities for the Grocery Department, ensuring shelves are fully stocked and products are properly displayed according to company standards. Monitor shelf conditions, verify FIFO rotation, and organize backstock to maximize efficiency while assisting with receiving deliveries. Support inventory control processes by communicating out-of-stock items, identifying discrepancies, and reducing shrink through proper product handling. Provide leadership and direction to stock crew associates, including training on safety standards and stocking procedures, while serving as the department leader during management absences. Maintain department cleanliness, safety compliance, and a positive shopping experience by addressing customer concerns and promoting product availability.
