Job Summary
Head Mechanic responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of golf course maintenance equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Includes supervising, training, and scheduling mechanic assistants; managing parts inventory and shop supplies; documenting repairs and parts purchases; and providing recommendations on capital equipment. Emphasizes safety, professionalism, and adherence to club standards while supporting overall course maintenance and operations.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in golf course equipment or small engine repair.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with various types of golf course maintenance equipment, including understanding replacement parts, supplies, and resources needed for equipment upkeep and repair.
- Preferred High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
