Job Summary
Head Manager responsible for overseeing store operations at the home store, aligning staff with the sales plan, completing schedules and visual merchandising tasks, maintaining payroll within budget, and collaborating with District Manager and HR on associate relations. Leads and coaches teams to deliver sales and profit results, provides performance feedback, identifies development needs, and fosters a performance-driven culture. Partners with Store Management, HR, District Manager, and Asset Protection to ensure operational excellence and customer experience. Must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on building a capable team, succession planning, and implementing best practices across store operations.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of previous experience as a retail manager
- High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree a plus but not required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds
- Strong customer service skills
- Team player with the ability to lead a team
- Disciplined and self-motivated
- Goal oriented
- Adaptable and flexible
- Fast learner
