Job Summary
Head Maintenance at Jamestown High School is responsible for coordinating building-level maintenance operations to ensure safe, efficient operation of facility systems, equipment, and grounds. The role performs preventive maintenance, minor repairs, equipment monitoring, and custodial coordination while supporting the Director of Maintenance in maintaining safe and functional facilities. Requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems, the ability to operate maintenance equipment including scissor lifts, and strong communication and organizational skills. On-call for emergencies, with weekend checks and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more on a regular basis
