HEAD, KPJ SENTOSA MEDICAL CENTRE LABORATORY

Head of Laboratory responsible for planning, establishment, and overall management of the Hospital Medical Laboratory, including day-to-day operations, strategic planning, quality systems implementation, cost management, and staff supervision to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective diagnostic services that meet accreditation standards. Lead and oversee daily operations, develop and implement strategic plans, monitor KPIs, TAT, test volumes, productivity, and client satisfaction. Ensure compliance with regulations and accreditation (ISO 15189, MSQH), participate in audits and proficiency testing, maintain SOPs and risk registers, and uphold quality indicators and patient safety. Manage a multidisciplinary team, staffing, training, and succession planning; oversee budget, procurement, and asset lifecycle; drive adoption of new technologies and liaise with clinicians and referral partners to ensure service excellence.
