Job Summary
Lead the Hartsville High School JV baseball program by demonstrating commitment to student athletes, community, and instructional leadership. Motivate and develop individual potential of high school students on and off the field while promoting positive character and school spirit. Manage the baseball program with innovative ideas in and out of season in compliance with SC High School League regulations. Work collaboratively with the Principal, Athletic Director, and Head Varsity Coach to foster high energy and team cohesion. Submit a complete application packet including a coaching application, three references, résumé, and teaching certificate prior to the closing date.
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina teaching credential
- Secondary certification
- Experience at the high school level in motivating and developing a championship level program
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Demonstrate the ability to motivate, relate, work with, and maximize the individual potential of high school students on and off the field
- Demonstrate high energy and be able to work well with others
- A negative TB test result
Desired Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina teaching credential preferred
- Secondary certification preferred
