Job Summary
Oversee the entire housekeeping operation and team at Clarges Mayfair, ensuring all public areas and resident suites are serviced and cleaned daily. Assign worker duties, inspect work for conformance to standards, and investigate service complaints to take corrective action. Obtain immediate room cleaning lists, conduct staff training on policies and equipment, and inventory supplies to ensure adequate stock. Liaise with the General Manager and Maintenance to address equipment needs and make recommendations to improve service efficiency. Adhere to all VRS policies and procedures while coaching staff to perform duties effectively. Join immediately for in-person interviews only.
Required Qualifications
- Must be skilled at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve them in a timely manner
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities to use time efficiently
- Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
- Must have the ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relations by displaying tact, courtesy and patience with applicants, residents, and staff
- High school graduation or equivalent
- WHMIS Certificate
- At least 3 years of housekeeping experience
- 1 year of working in a supervisory/managerial role
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
