Job Summary
Lead the reception team to ensure seamless guest arrivals and manage reservations to optimize seating flow. Welcome guests warmly, monitor dining capacity and service quality, and address feedback to maintain high standards. Conduct opening and closing duties while supporting staff training and maintaining accurate records. Coordinate with restaurant, bar, and kitchen teams for smooth service delivery. Ensure all host areas and menus meet luxury brand standards.
Required Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in a host/hostess or reception role, ideally within a luxury or high-end restaurant
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and guest service standards
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to presentation and service excellence
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-standards environment
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage reservations and seating flow effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and engaging approach
- A proactive mindset, anticipating guest needs and driving service improvements
- Impeccable personal presentation aligned with luxury brand standards
- A collaborative approach, working seamlessly with colleagues across departments
