Job Summary
Oversee all golf services and operations, including purchasing, cart maintenance, tee-time reservations, and enforcing course usage rules. Manage staff by training assistants, conducting evaluations, and supervising payroll and time sheets. Develop the annual operating budget, tournament program, and merchandise concession while monitoring financial variances and retail sales forecasts. Coordinate closely with the Golf Course Maintenance Department, VP of Golf, and Director of Retail to ensure exceptional guest experiences. Maintain competitive playing skills, instruct clinics, and actively model safety guidelines in accordance with OSHA and state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- PGA member for at least 3 years
- 3-5 years of management experience
- customer service, training and supervision of staff, fiscal experience, and tournament organization skills
- 10 or more years of experience in the business (under P.G.A. requirements) preferred
- PGA PGM Completion (or business school) required
- Must be able to motivate and lead staff
- Must have excellent computer skills
