Job Summary
Head Girls Soccer Coach at Armstrong High School in Richmond, VA, responsible for planning and scheduling in-season practices, coaching players to VHSL standards, assisting in selection/evaluation of assistant coaches, coordinating uniforms and equipment, maintaining safety/cleanliness of facilities, enforcing sportsmanship, issuing/collecting school properties, and coordinating an annual recognition program; requires licensed teacher status or VHSL special permission, with Spanish language skills considered a plus; temporary assignment with Richmond Public Schools.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed teacher or have special permission from the Superintendent's office and the VHSL to coach
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage athletic activities sanctioned by VHSL
- Bilingual skills to include Spanish are a plus
