Job Summary
Plan and lead practices, training sessions, and games for the assigned sport while teaching fundamentals, strategies, and rules. Model and foster a positive team culture rooted in Christian values, supervise student-athletes during all team-related activities, and ensure their safety and well-being. Collaborate with the Athletic Director regarding scheduling, facilities, equipment, and program needs, maintaining open communication with parents, athletes, and school staff. Adhere to school policies and applicable league regulations. Serve as a godly role model in attitude, speech, and actions, praying with and for students as appropriate to uphold the school's mission and statement of faith.
Required Qualifications
- A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Passion for mentoring students and integrating faith into athletics
- Knowledge of sport-specific rules and training techniques
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and professional conduct
Desired Qualifications
- Prior coaching experience preferred
