Job Summary
Lead, develop, and inspire the garden team to pursue excellence while managing staff growth and professional development. Ensure optimal maintenance of garden and farm equipment and develop fertilisation and integrated pest management programmes. Plan, implement, and monitor irrigation systems, lead new landscape projects, and manage budgets responsibly. Share expertise through workshops and presentations for visitors and staff. Required Qualifications
- A relevant academic qualification
- At least 10 years' experience in horticulture or agriculture
- Proven experience managing a successful garden or agricultural operation at a senior level
- The ability to lead a diverse team of approximately 70 employees with enthusiasm and respect
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Strong leadership, motivational, and team-building skills
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities
- Good computer literacy
- Sound knowledge of fruit and vegetable production
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and drainage
- An understanding of the tourism industry and logistical planning
- Proven experience in project and contract management
