Job Summary
Coaching the fall cheer program at the Beaufort County School District, responsible for instructing athletes in fundamentals, sportsmanship, teamwork, strategy, and conditioning; assist in scheduling intramural and interscholastic contests and planning/ scheduling regular practice; maintain attendance and insurance records, oversee safety conditions, establish performance criteria for academic eligibility, enforce code of conduct, and participate in equipment planning and procurement; requires coaching experience, knowledge of cheer/athletics, and a teaching certificate is preferred; ability to pass a criminal background check and possess a valid driver’s license; part-time, temporary role.
Required Qualifications
- Previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport.
- Knowledge and/or background in the assigned sport.
- Teaching certificate and experience preferred.
- Must be able to pass criminal background check.
- Valid drivers license.
