Head Custodian

Head Custodian responsible for managing daily custodial operations under supervision, including cleaning school facilities to maintain a sanitary, safe environment; delivering supplies and materials; coordinating with staff and supervisors; leading custodial staff, scheduling performance inspections, maintaining preventive maintenance for HVAC equipment, overseeing substitutes, handling inventory and purchasing, arranging furniture for events, and training personnel in safety and equipment use. Requires ability to read/write English, work with diverse groups, process paperwork, and follow safety and chemical hygiene procedures; frequent travel between schools is noted, with standard schedule and overtime as needed; includes performance evaluations, reporting on building needs, and maintaining records of time and performance.
