Job Summary
Head Custodian responsible for directing work assignments and supervising custodians to ensure a clean, sanitary, hazard-free facility. Requires supervising, training, and evaluating custodial/housekeeping personnel; knowledge of cleaning equipment; strong communication and interpersonal skills. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Exempt status not indicated; position is Non-Exempt. Reports to Campus Principal or Supervisor at Seguin ISD; school facility maintenance across assigned campus (Rodriguez Elementary).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in supervising, training, and evaluating custodial/housekeeping personnel
- Knowledge in use and care of all types of cleaning equipment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
