Job Summary
Complete maintenance activities for school building facilities, equipment, and grounds as directed by the custodial supervisor or building evaluator. Manage and supervise subordinate custodial staff to maintain cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and the appearance of assigned site areas. Requisition supplies, prepare service records, and report safety hazards to the supervisor while adhering to federal, state, and district policies. Attend required in-service training and perform other related duties as assigned. This twelve-month role supports the Rapides Parish School District's operational goals under the supervision of a Building Evaluator.
Required Qualifications
- Skilled in the maintenance of school building facilities, equipment and grounds relative to caring, cleaning, repairing and replacing
- Minimum of three years as building custodian
