Job Summary
Conduct building and ground maintenance to ensure safe and pleasant facility appearance, including cleaning duties, boiler operations, and HVAC tasks. Supervise, evaluate, and assign work to custodial staff engaged in maintenance, repair, and care of assigned facilities. Provide support and coordination of facility usage while keeping accurate records for safety and efficiency. Maintain necessary supplies and equipment, including snow removal machinery. Requires a high school diploma, five years of boiler operations experience, and a First Class boiler license or ability to obtain licensure within one year.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- at least five years experience in boiler operations
- any satisfactory combination of education/experience/training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above described duties
- Boiler license appropriate to the building and/or the ability to obtain licensure within one year (First Class)
Desired Qualifications
- Up to one year of specialized or technical training in building trades and maintenance
- Three to five years experience in electrical and/or carpentry maintenance
- Experience in boiler operations
- Experience with snow removal and like equipment
- Experience in HVAC
