Job Summary
Conduct building and ground maintenance to ensure safe and pleasant facility appearance, including cleaning duties, supply management, and maintenance repairs. Supervise, evaluate, monitor, and assign work to custodians and other staff engaged in facility care. Provide support and coordination of facility usage while keeping accurate records for safety and efficiency. Maintain a Boiler license appropriate to the building or obtain licensure within one year. Requires High School Diploma and three years of general maintenance experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- three years of experience in general maintenance
- any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above described duties
- Boiler license appropriate to the building and/or the ability to obtain licensure within one year (Second Class)
Desired Qualifications
- Up to one year of specialized or technical training in building trades
- Three to five years experience in electrical and/or carpentry maintenance
- Experience in boiler operations
- Experience with snow removal and like equipment
- Experience in HVAC
