Job Summary
Head Custodian role overseeing the cleaning, sanitation, security, safety, and maintenance of school facilities; plans and directs custodial work, budgets, and building operations; supervises custodians, coordinates with staff and external contractors, conducts safety inspections and drills, maintains heating/cooling systems, and ensures proper handling of chemicals per MSDS/OSHA standards; requires strong knowledge of cleaning methods, building systems, and ability to train and supervise staff; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform routine maintenance tasks; reports to Principal.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- NC driver’s license
