Job Summary
Head Cross Country Coach for the 26-27 season at North Wasco County SD. Provides leadership and organization of the high school athletic program for grades 9-12, directs practices, communicates with athletes/parents, supervises equipment, schedules, and events, and ensures compliance with OSAA/guidelines; requires 3-5 years head coaching or equivalent experience, and high school diploma (college degree preferred). Must obtain criminal fingerprint clearance, drug screening, first aid/CPR, NFHS/ASEP certification, and adhere to district policies and sportsmanship standards.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years previous head coaching experience in the assigned sport or previous coordinator experience at the 4A level or higher
- previous collegiate coaching experience preferred
- Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. College Degree Preferred
- Licenses, Certifications, Bonding and/or Testing Required: Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance; district drug screening clearance; BBP Training; NFHS Coaches Certification or ASEP Certification; ASEP Certification; First Aid/CPR Certification; Vector Trainings.
