Head Counselor for Caddie Program
Job Summary
Head Counselor for the Caddie Program responsible for living with Scholars in dorms, transporting to work each day using vehicles provided by DMSF, supervising Scholars in dorms and coordinating weekly activities (guest speakers, social events, workshops), transporting Scholars to and from weekly First Tee programming to learn golf, and providing transportation to trains when needed. Responsibilities also include maintaining records of tips and loops, handling logistics for food service and vehicle maintenance, enforcing DMSF policies, and reporting to DMSF on Scholar progress. Two Head Counselors are sought, one for the boys’ program and one for the girls’ program. Undergraduate degree required; experience supervising young adults; excellent supervisory and communication skills; valid driver’s license with an infraction-free driving record for the past two years; knowledge of golf/caddying helpful but not required.
