Job Summary

Lead a zonal team of 50 associates, including 5 direct reports who are people managers, to consistently achieve consumable sales and service revenue targets for the North Zone. Drive implementation of the Consumable Sales & Service Excellence Strategy to deliver sustainable, year-over-year growth in supplies, parts, and service revenues and bookings. Own zonal P&L accountability, including gross margin management, price increase initiatives for consumables and service year-over-year, and DSO and PSP oversight and control. Execute structured pipeline and funnel reviews with the zonal team through SFDC, with a focus on regain opportunities, forecast accuracy, and action plan implementation. Champion multi-year Annual Rate Contracts (ARCs) and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), maximizing customer coverage under price contractual agreements and driving on-time renewal rates. Deliver service excellence by achieving higher Preventive Maintenance (PM%) rates, adopting a proactive approach to customer maintenance, and ensuring optimal utilization of the service team. Improve employee engagement scores zone-wide year-over-year through qualitative field visits, coaching, and a commitment to team well-being and work-life balance. Develop high-potential associates through structured potential mapping, individual career development plans, and mentoring programs that build the next generation of leaders. Drive active customer retention strategies and improve NPS index and customer satisfaction scores for the North Zone. Analyze daily and weekly reporting metrics with the team to identify trends, course-correct quickly, and accelerate performance against zone targets.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, or a related discipline
  • MBA with a specialization in Marketing, Sales, or General Management
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, service, or a combined sales-and-service leadership role within an Indian or multinational company operating in an industrial, technology, or capital equipment environment
  • Proven track record of managing and growing revenue portfolios, including consumable or aftermarket service businesses, with measurable impact on KPIs such as bookings, gross margin, and customer retention
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce/SFDC) for pipeline management, funnel reviews, and performance tracking
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop large field-based teams — driving accountability, engagement, and consistent performance outcomes
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with experience applying competitive and market intelligence to develop and execute winning commercial strategies
  • Experience working within a global matrix organization and applying continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, VES, or equivalent)
