Job Summary
Head Concierge at The Dorchester leads the Concierge team (including Luggage Porters, Doormen, and Drivers) to deliver exceptional guest service and uphold London's culture. Responsible for overseeing a large team, fostering a culture aligned with the hotel’s values, and supporting the Executive Team in understanding guest needs. Role involves managing shift-based hours (Monday to Sunday) and ensuring high standards of craft, service, and leadership. Requires prior Head Concierge experience in a 5-star London property, English fluency, and leadership in coordinating concierge staff with potential additional language skills; includes responsibilities around designing or delivering training to junior employees.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Head Concierge in a 5-star London property
- Golden Keys Holder
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring a concierge team to deliver exceptional guest service
- Fluency in English
- Preferred: Fluency in one or more additional languages
- Experience designing or delivering training to junior concierge employees
- Experience working in shift-based operations (Monday–Sunday)
