Head Coach- Women's Softball

Job Summary
Head Coach leads all aspects of Mitchell College's women's softball program, including recruiting, coaching, and overseeing strength and conditioning coordination, travel logistics, budgeting, fundraising, and administrative duties. Responsible for mentoring student-athletes academically, athletically, and socially, monitoring academic progress, and representing the College in GNAC/NCAA Division III compliance. Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, database management (Front Rush), and the ability to develop the program through season planning, camps, travel, and budget stewardship. Bachelor's degree required; coaching experience at the college level preferred; driving license and First Aid/CPR/AED certification required. This role reports to the Director of Athletics and encompasses wide-ranging responsibilities from recruiting to program development and community engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
- Minimum of 2–3 years of coaching experience, preferably at the college level
- Collegiate playing experience preferred
- Current and valid driver’s license
- Current First Aid, CPR & AED certification
